Spend your summer studying abroad in Italy! Our faculty-led Plate to Plate program brings you to multiple Italian cities to study how food and farming are connected to the local culture, history, politics, traditions, and environment. The class takes you through the full life cycle of food, starting with the geological basis of farming, to the practice of agriculture, and ending with an examination of kitchens and tables. You'll get to see active volcanoes, organic farms, food movement organizations, and socially active culinary institutes.

Contact Rochelle Keesler at keeslerr@lafayette.edu to register. Contact faculty leaders Tamara Carley (carleyt@lafayette.edu) and Benjamin Cohen (cohenb@lafayette.edu) with course questions.
