
Spend a semester or a full year at Heidelberg University in Germany! American Junior Year at Heidelberg is a small, selective program meant for juniors with a high intermediate level of German (usually at least four semesters). It's a great fit for German students who want to further develop their language skills in an immersive academic and cultural environment.
Students study at the prestigious and highly ranked Heidelberg, Germany's oldest university. You'll receive strong support from the AJY team, including resident director Martin Kley. Most students take all of their classes in German, but there are some English course offerings, particularly in STEM. You can also apply to do an internship for credit.
Apply to study abroad in the spring by October 1. Apply to study abroad in the fall by March 1.
