The Environment, Communities, & Data Centers

All are invited to a symposium highlighting final projects in CE 203: Building a Sustainable World. Hear how students engaged in a semester-long project in which they investigated the data centers that house their favorite websites. Students examined the environmental, economic, and social impacts of data centers on local communities and, with support from a Libraries Information Literacy Grant, were encouraged to closely examine where the information on data centers comes from and identify and examine those whose voices are absent.
