Geospatial Technologies Community of Practice

The Geospatial Technologies Community of Practice is a group of faculty, students and staff who utilize geospatial technologies in teaching, research, and administration.  This first meeting of the group will introduce the group to the campus community, and share resources that are available.  Future meetings will share information about geospatial technologies, and highlight the use of these technologies in the classroom, across the community, and around the world.  Additionally the Geospatial Community of Practice sponsors a lecture for the National GIS day which is November 19th this year.
