Lisa Rex Retirement Celebration

Please join the Human Resources Team for refreshments to celebrate Lisa Rex's retirement as Director of HR/Employment on October 22 from 2:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. in the Williams Arts Center lobby. Remarks at 3 p.m.

Lisa joined the College in 2000 as an Assistant Director of Human Resources and was promoted to HR Director specializing in Employment in 2006. Over the past 24 years, Lisa has been a constant driving force and a welcoming advocate for employees and leadership, alike. Her notable accomplishments include creating the College’s Welcome and New Hire Orientation programs. Lisa served for many years as a Deputy Title IX Coordinator, as well as a member, and ex-officio member, of the Administrative Council.

Lisa’s departure will undoubtedly leave a void in the HR department. Her experience and leadership have been instrumental in shaping the department. Her friendly demeanor and outgoing personality, which have been enjoyed by so many, will be greatly missed.

Lisa and her husband Jim, whom she met at Lafayette, are retiring to Savannah, Georgia.
