In this collaborative session, participants will develop strategies for directly connecting filmmaking with political action and resistance. Through a discussion of creative techniques - including examples - and a practical investigation of the entire ecosystem of cinema production and distribution, this session will challenge the narrative that culture is separate from, and peripheral to, the radical political struggles of our time.
