Abstract: Our talk's primary aim is to pique undergraduates' curiosity, encouraging them to explore the captivating mysteries of infinite-dimensional vector spaces. We're motivated by the long-standing challenge of the invariant subset problem in mathematical analysis, which, despite various approaches and contributions, remains unsolved. In this presentation, we aspire to inspire undergraduate students to venture beyond finite-dimensional spaces and embrace the infinite-dimensional world. We'll introduce a novel technique, born in the 1990s and refined over the last three decades, that addresses the invariant subset problem, significantly advancing our comprehension and evolving into a prominent mathematical field.
