Listen to poetry and songs in their native (non-English) language, with English translations provided. 
 
The Lafayette College Libraries, Language and Literary Studies, International Student Association and Office of Intercultural Development are partnering on an event to increase awareness and appreciation of non-English poetic works.
 
Students and faculty will be reading poems in languages such as Hindi, German, Spanish, and Bengali. The winners of the Global Expressions: Writing Beyond the Mother Tongue magazine's writing contest will be unveiled. Please join us in celebrating the outstanding talent and creativity of our campus community as we showcase the rich and diverse voices of our multilingual writers!
 
The event will take place in the Gendebien Room (Skillman 206) on April 18th at 4:30 PM and refreshments will be available.
