This winter interim, Angela Perkins (Research and Instruction Librarian) and Janna Avon (Digital Initiatives Librarian) will be running the Digital Humanities Summer Scholars Idea Incubator, a four part workshop series guiding you through developing an idea through to a research proposal for a digital humanities project.
The workshops focus on:
- Introducing Digital Humanities and digital scholarship,
- Introducing the research process,
- Data in a Digital Humanities research context,
- and writing research proposals and pitches.
DHSS Idea Incubator Interim Session 2022 will be virtual over Zoom on the following dates:
- Wednesday, January 12, 2022 11:00 am – 1:30 pm
- Friday, January 14, 2022 11:00 am – 1:30 pm
- Wednesday, January 19, 2022 11:00 am – 1:30 pm
- Friday, January 21, 2022 11:00 am – 1:30 pm

The DHSS Idea Incubator is affiliated with the DHSS program, and is a very helpful opportunity for any student interested in applying to DHSS '22, as it will teach you the mechanics of developing and proposing a digital humanities project.
