Interested in mentorship and traveling abroad? Come hear the Lafayette student mentors of the LIME 2017 Team talk about their experiences in Madagascar and the LIME program. LIME is a peer-to-peer mentoring program between Lafayette students and high school students from Madagascar to prepare them for the process of applying to colleges in the US. 10-12 Lafayette students are chosen each year to participate in the program in which they work with Malagasy students from Lycee Andohalo, a public high school in the nation's capital, Antananarivo. Lafayette students commit to mentoring over a 1.5 year timespan, including a three week trip to Madagascar in January, but the connections made last a lifetime.
A Q&A session will follow the presentation and all are welcome to attend!
Pizza will be provided.
