Announcements are short notices about upcoming events, reminders about deadlines, and other items of general interest to the college community.
IMPORTANT NOTE: Announcements submitted here are meant primarily to promote events to the entire campus community (those faculty, staff and students who have not unsubscribed).
If you wish to send messages to specific groups only (e.g. only to students, only to faculty, only to faculty/staff), please contact the appropriate office below for assistance:
- Provost's Office
- Dean of the College
- Human Resources
- Finance and Administration
- VP for Campus Life, Dean of Students
These offices have the ability to email targeted audiences.
All submissions will not appear until they have been approved for publication. When published, new entries are automatically sent to the campus-wide "Announcements" mailing list. Announcements are generally approved and distributed prior to noon and prior to 5 p.m. each weekday. Announcements submitted after 5 p.m. will not be posted until the following day. For that reason, please refrain from using "today" and "tomorrow" in your announcement. Instead, use the date (i.e. Wednesday, March 5). Images will not be included in the emails, but will display on the site.
Submissions by authenticated Lafayette students and employees are editable by the individual who submitted the item, but editing it won't cause another email to be sent to campus.

All submitted announcements are subject to review.
