Volunteers will help restore crucial habitat in Seattleā€™s biggest forest by removing invasive plants such as blackberry, English ivy, and Scotch broom and spreading mulch around native trees and shrubs. The Nature Consortium will have other activities and entertainment available, including live music, painters, art activities and fun for all ages!

After the event, volunteers are welcome to join the Nature Consortium at the Duwamish Tribe Longhouse for a celebration of all the hard work accomplished. The tribe will provide seafood chowder as well as fry bread for a small donation as well as interactive learning opportunities.
