Whether you are looking to record your first episode, develop your own podcast, or design an audio assignment for your syllabus, join ITS for our open drop-in podcasting sessions.

These informal, hands-on hours are open to all students, faculty, and staff—from complete beginners who have never touched a microphone to experienced creators ready to edit and distribute their show. No prior recording experience is required.

What You Can Explore

  • Hands-on Studio & Tech Demos: Learn how to reserve a studio, use the studio equipment, brainstorm podcast episode formatting and structures, get answers on audio editing software, and more!

  • Podcast Assignment Consulting (For Faculty): Discover how to scaffold podcast assignments into your course and coordinate studio access and training workshops for your students.

    • Podcast assignments can count toward W-course requirements, and CWP Director Bianca Falbo and Assistant Director Gabbi Kelenyi are available to work with faculty to develop those assignments for those classes.

Sign up for a 30-minute drop-in session via Google Calendar. Bring your project draft, assignment syllabus, or just your curiosity.
