Please join International Affairs in welcoming four International Affairs alumni for a discussion on career paths after Lafayette. Our alumni bring experience from a variety of sectors and will share insights into their professional journeys, career opportunities, and how their International Affairs education helped shape their paths.

 
The following alumni will be joining us...
 

Henry Hipp (‘22), an Analyst at TRSS, working at the intersection of data analysis, corporate compliance, and national security. He holds a Master’s of Arts degree in Security, Cybersecurity, and Intelligence from Johns Hopkins University.



Ayat Husseini (‘20), a Masters student in Urban Planning at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. After graduation, she worked for then-assembly member Zohran Mamdani before receiving a Fulbright award to conduct research on refugees and transportation in Amman, Jordan. She continued to work the in urban planning and research sector in Jordan until starting her master’s studies this year. Prior to beginning her studies, she was working with IMPACT’s Sites & Shelter program, conducting assessments to support coordinated humanitarian responses in Gaza.



Alan Jones (‘24), a commodities trader at Monjasa, a global maritime fuels firm whose “core business includes reselling and physical supply of marine fuels and ship-owning activities on a global level."



Emily LoPiccolo (‘18), an Assessment, Monitoring, and Evaluation analyst focused on the Defense and Security sector at Dexis Consulting Group. She has worked in the US foreign policy space since graduation and holds a Masters in the Science of Measurement and Evaluation from American University.
