Navigating and Reflecting on Potentially "HOT" Classroom Conversations

CITLS and CWP are partnering to offer several workshops this term to help faculty anticipate, navigate, and reflect on “HOT” (heated, offensive, or tense) moments in the classroom.  Ending with the session "Navigating and Reflecting on Potentially "HOT" Classroom Conversations," we’ll discuss real-world scenarios and practice strategies to help our students (and each other) engage and disagree with respect, pause and reflect when emotions run high, and transition back to learning after stressful interactions. Register to Participate.
