GRAMMY-nominated Latin jazz powerhouse Jane Bunnett and Maqueque return to the Performance Series after unforeseen circumstances prevented their 2025/26 appearance. Four-time JUNO Award winner and two-time GRAMMY nominee Jane Bunnett has spent her career blending intricate Afro-Cuban rhythms with contemporary jazz, introducing North American audiences to Cuban greats like Pedrito Martinez and Dafnis Prieto. Her latest project, Maqueque, is an all-female Cuban sextet that has taken the jazz world by storm with its bold musicianship, vibrant energy, and irresistible sound.
