DESCRIPTION:Students from all disciplines enjoy studying and performing a v
 ariety of \npercussion music from around the globe.\n\nRecent performances
  have included music from West Africa\, Bali\, Japan\, Latin \nAmerica\, a
 nd a number of contemporary styles and genres from jazz to J-pop. \nStuden
 ts have access to the Music Department’s large collection of \ninstruments
  and have the opportunity to perform throughout the year.\n\nRehearsals ar
 e held on Monday evenings from 6:30-8:30\, and on Friday \nafternoons. Stu
 dents may enroll for 1/4-credit: Music 158.\n\nThe ensemble is directed by
  Professor Wells.
