Mark S. Brault ’03 is a former Leopard track & field athlete and Patriot League champion who graduated with a B.S. in Biology before embarking on a diverse professional path that spans research to commercialization in the biotechnology, pharmaceutical, agricultural, and food/beverage sectors.

               

In this session, Mark will discuss his transition from an Immunology Ph.D. program at Thomas Jefferson University to a Scientist at Meso Scale Discovery and eventually a Senior Scientist at Merck & Co., where he led global technology transfers and new product launches for the vaccine franchise. Beyond the lab, Mark leveraged an MBA from Villanova to pivot into the world of entrepreneurship. As the Founder and CEO of Maius Capital and Deer Creek Malthouse, he has spent over a decade navigating the challenges of new venture creation.
