The Karl Stirner Arts Trail will celebrate poetry month and it's 2026/2027 Poetry in the Wild initiative with a poetry workshop led by KSAT 2025 Artist in Residence Lafayette '98 Alum & 2016 Philadelphia Poet Laureate Yolanda Wisher on April 4. The distinguished poet and musician will lead participants through a workshop designed to reflect on their world with the intention of assembling wording collected during the workshop for a musical installation on the Karl Stirner Arts Trail.
Some participants may be asked to recite their work for recording, which will then be folded into a musical composition created by Wisher and a select group of musicians.
The workshop will take place at 11:30 AM at Lafayette College’s Williams Visual Arts Building, 243 N. 3rd St., Easton, PA 18042.
The workshop is open to all ages. Children under 12 years old should be accompamied by an adult.
