When:
Saturday, April 18, 2026 (All day)
Where:
Bard College in Annandale-on-Hudson, New York

This year’s conference will be held on April 18th & 19th at Bard College in Annandale-on-Hudson, New York. The conference brings undergraduate students together for discussions on creating and maintaining student farms and initiatives that further sustainable agriculture, food justice, and related issues.

Even if you’re not an environmental studies/science major or an employee at LaFarm, this conference is a wonderful opportunity to meet students from across the Northeast. When Lafayette College hosted last year, over 120 students from 16 northeastern schools were present. Attendees include students with a range of interests, from sustainability-focused work to just simply being outdoors.

This year’s theme, "Food & Community," will be explored through workshops, presentations, and panel discussions. The full conference program will be released in the coming weeks. Current details can be found on Bard's conference website, though feel free to explore Lafayette's conference page as a reference. In addition, students are invited to present academic work or independent projects. This is intended as a low-stakes opportunity to share your passions with like-minded students and to exchange ideas that others might adapt in their own institutions. Presentations must be submitted by March 15th.

Tickets and transportation will be covered for those who register before March 24th (while funding lasts), after which students may be responsible for the cost of their attendance. Please express your interest through the following form: Registration
