Peter Huntley '08
Founder & CEO of Stargazer Cast Iron, Peter is a Lafayette alumnus who studied art before beginning his career as a graphic designer across multiple industries. He later entered housewares design, an industry with three generations of family history, where he developed a deep appreciation for craftsmanship and functional design. In 2015, he launched Stargazer, blending a love of cast iron cooking with a commitment to legacy American manufacturing. Over the past decade, the company has grown from a one-person garage operation into a multimillion-dollar business with a ten-person team at its local manufacturing and distribution facility.
Mat Pezon '10
Through Pezon Properties, Matt has built and managed a real estate portfolio comprising several hundred units. He is a founding instructor and former Director of The Real Estate Lab, a nonprofit dedicated to financial literacy and real estate education, where he worked closely with students and first-time investors to demystify real-world real estate transactions. Matt is recognized for translating complex deals into clear, actionable concepts and for emphasizing fair, mutually beneficial outcomes, bringing a thoughtful, people-centered approach to moments of transition and growth.
