The Lafayette College Chamber Orchestra, under the direction of Dr. Lewis R. Baratz, will present its Fall semester concert on Sunday, November 23, 3:00 PM on the main stage of the Williams Center. The program includes Joseph Haydn's Cassation (Divertimento) in G Major for strings, Gustav Holst's 1933 composition Brook Green Suite, the charming Andante for Strings by Alexander Scriabin, Three Sacred Songs by contemporarian Armenian composer, Grigor Arakelian, selections from the Suite by String Orchestra by English early 20th-century composer Christopher Wilson, and the Caiconna a 7 for two trumpets and strings by 17th-century Czech composer and priest Jakob Philipp Rittler. The concert is free, and features 16 student members.
