A Bicentennial lecture by historian Lloyd Kramer, Professor Emeritus of History, University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill

Professor Lloyd Kramer will explore the Marquis de Lafayette’s ideas about human rights and his support for others who advanced these ideals in both Europe and America. The lecture will connect Lafayette’s life and legacy with the ongoing global challenges in the pursuit of human rights today.
