Leaving on Saturday morning (10/4), we'll head to an entrance to the Appalachian trail about 20 minutes away. From there we weill hike 6 miles to our campground. We'll have a bonfire, roast dogs and s'mores and have a great time. Sunday morning we'll hike back the way we came and be back on campus early sunday afternoon.
**Backpacking means that we are carrying all the gear we need for the night on our backs!!! Its super fun and while this is Intro level backpacking, please be aware of this **
