AI Affects: Adoption and Resistance: Pop-up Exhibit and Book Giveaway

Presented by the Libraries and the College Writing Program. Share your thoughts and feelings on Generative AI through this interactive pop-up exhibit. To celebrate the launch of the exhibit and in anticipation of Karen Hao’s lecture “Technology, Democracy & Empires of AI” (October 9 at 7 PM in Colton Chapel), the Libraries will offer a giveaway of Hao’s bestselling book, Empire of AI, while supplies last.  The exhibit invites participants to contribute answers to a few questions for a real-time visualization of survey responses via word clouds, graphs, and other visuals. Participants and viewers will come away from the exhibit with an idea of how Generative Artificial Intelligence (GenAI) is circulating in our campus community.
