In anticipation of Karen Hao's October 9th lecture "Technology, Democracy, and Empires of AI" (https://calendar.lafayette.edu/node/69329), the Libraries and the Office of the Provost invite faculty, staff, and librarians to participate in a two-part reading and discussion group. The first session will focus on a brief excerpt of the book. It will take place on Friday, October 3rd via Zoom at 12:00PM. The second meeting will be in-person on Wednesday, October 15th (lunch provided) at 12:15 in Skillman 004. That session will focus on discussion of the talk and the book as a whole. Please register your interest as soon as possible.
