The Generative AI Community of Practice is designed for faculty and staff interested in discussing how generative AI can play a role in teaching, learning, and administrative work here at Lafayette College.

The final community meeting of the semester will be open to the greater Lafayette and LVAIC communities and feature a virtual student panel. Join via Zoom.

Panel Discussion: Student Insights & Perspectives on GenAI

How are college students engaging with and making decisions about Generative AI tools for academic work and professional learning?   Please join us for a virtual hour-long panel on 12/18/25 to hear Lafayette undergraduates representing various class years, majors, and philosophical approaches candidly share their perspectives. They'll discuss how they make decisions about generative AI tools with ethics and academic integrity in mind, what they wish their professors knew about these tools, what questions and concerns remain top-of-mind for them, and whether or how they utilize emergent technologies to scaffold their learning.
