Join Lafayette’s traveling Speech and Debate team!
Do you have a passion for performing in front of an audience? Are you an advocate for issues of social justice or public policy? Is spoken wordor dramatic performance your thing? Would you like to hone your presentation skills in a challenging and competitive environment? Joining the nationally ranked Lafayette Speech and Debate team is the perfect opportunity to meet new people while performing poetry and drama, discussing politics, and communicating your ideas - and you get to travel (FOR FREE!) to places like Nashville, TN, Atlanta GA, Austin, TX, and Portland, OR. Of course, you will get to learn a lot about public speaking too!
