  is excited to host Dr. Steven \nRadelet\, the Donald F. McHenry Chair in 
 Global Human Development and \nDistinguished Professor of the Practice at 
 Georgetown University\, and \nSamantha Custer\, of University of Maryland’
 s School of Public Policy and \nCenter for International and Security Stud
 ies to discuss these pressing \nquestions. A former Chief Economist at USA
 ID\, Dr. Radelet has extensive \nexperience advising national leaders\, in
 cluding past Class of '61 speaker \nEllen Johnson Sirleaf\, on development
  issues. Ms. Custer has over a decade of \nexperience at AidData\, a resea
 rch lab at William & Mary\, and one of the \nforemost international aid da
 ta collection and analysis organizations in the \nworld\, where she served
  as the Director of Policy Analysis. They will be \njoined by a panel of f
 aculty and student discussants. Attendees will gain \nclear insights into 
 the practical details and the big picture of \ninternational aid and come 
 away with a better understanding of the stakes \ninvolved in the loss of U
 SAID.
