This thesis discusses two original musical compositions. The first is a piece for chamber orchestra, written for the PA Sinfonia, which premiered it on April 5th and 6th, 2025. The second is a collaborative album based on materials generated for the first project. I provide analysis of my work, description of my compositional process, and some self-critique. Through doing so, I pose several questions regarding musical form, genre, and method in the context of contemporary classical music.
