Winter 2026 class abroad: The Spirit of Water: Cultural and Environmental Perspectives in Japan

This interdisciplinary course examines the multifaceted role of water in Japanese society, exploring its cultural symbolism, environmental challenges, economic significance, and political implications. Through lectures, discussions, and cultural activities, students will gain a deeper understanding of Japan’s relationship with water and its impact on various aspects of Japanese life.
