An Unheard Voice: Understanding Title IX

Title IX grants every student the right to an education free from sexual assault or harassment. However, the landscape surrounding Title IX is ever changing and can often be difficult not only to understand, but to keep up with. Join us as we welcome subject matter expert, and Certified Speaking Professional, Elaine Pasqua to campus as she provides us with an in-depth look at the current Title IX landscape. Elaine will provide students with a deeper understanding of the systems and resources available at Lafayette. Furthermore, through interactive exercises and light conversation, participants will also learn about the impacts of sexual violence and gain essential skills to be actvie bystanders and provide support to survivors. Light snacks and refreshments will be offered.
