The Student Affairs Committee is considering revisions to the language and application of Dean's excuses as laid out in the Faculty Handbook and Course Catalog. At this Open Meeting we will briefly share the legal and practical concerns that have prompted this work and share our ideas. We will devote a majority of the time to soliciting feedback from colleagues on the proposed revisions.
