We’re pleased to host the third discussion in our series, Interdisciplinarity as Scholarly Practice, where faculty from different academic areas share how they engage in interdisciplinary scholarship and explore effective strategies for fostering research collaboration. Dr. Gabel and Dr. Yu will discuss the processes, strategies, and challenges of interdisciplinary faculty collaboration, with a focus on how to engage students across different majors. Sharing insights from their brain-computer interface research program, they will describe the ways they foster effective teamwork, mentor students, and build successful research partnerships, offering valuable takeaways for faculty interested in interdisciplinary collaboration.
