Inclusive Teaching & Excellence Series: Previewing for Student Success

Though it requires planning on the part of the instructor, previewing is well worth the effort, as it can enhance a lecture or in-class work by providing students with a foundation of prior knowledge and understanding on which to build.  Marty Sullivan, Director of the Academic Resource Hub, along with faculty and staff representatives from the College Writing Program, will share their successes with previewing along with recommendations for encouraging and supporting your learners in using this technique.
