Melissa Livingston is a director, playwright, and educator dedicated to new plays and social impact through theatre. She co-founded a chick & a dude productions in 2001 and later helped transform the Lake Dillon Theatre into Theatre SilCo. Now a Visiting Assistant Professor at Lafayette College, she has directed over 40 productions, earning accolades like Austin’s B. Iden Payne Award and Austin Lifestyle Magazine’s Best Production. With an MFA in Directing from UC Irvine, she uses theatre to amplify social issues affecting American women and girls.
