Please join The Marquis Consort for its Fall 2024 concert featuring virtuosic violin music of early 17th century Italy and Austria, a concerto for two recorders by Johann Christoph Pepusch, a splendid cantata for soprano, strings, and continuo by Dieterich Buxtehude, and a rousing English holiday ballad from c. 1650. Featuring student performers Isabella Crapanzano, soprano, Brian Morris on flute and recorder, violinists Gabe Petrecz and Camille Voo, cellists
Rebecca Filiato and Samuel Griff, and Adelaide Rafieyan on harpsichord. With faculty guest artists Jorge Torres on theorbo and baroque guitar, and Akiva Zamcheck, guitar. Directed by Lewis R. Baratz
