NIA: Zumbathon

Please join us for our annual Zumbathon. Zumbathon is an important annual event for NIA, that was founded by a former Co-president. Zumbathon is a time to inform and support those diagnosed with breast cancer. This year, all proceeds will be donated to the Capital Breast Care Center, a nonprofit that provides critical support services for those diagnosed with breast cancer. Their mission is: 'To provide and maximize comprehensive, culturally appropriate breast cancer screening services to women in the D.C. metropolitan area, regardless of their ability to pay, through clinical services, education, and research.' The Capital Breast Care Center supported Alleyah Miner’s late mother who was NIA’s former Co-President and founder of Zumbathon.
