Join us at Studio Theater at 248 N on November 8th at 8 pm as Hendrickson Lab students present the Staged Reading of Copenhagen by Michael Frayn. Third St. The play, based on a meeting between physicists Neils Bohr, and Werner Heisenberg in Copenhagen in 1941, offers an engaging and thoughtful exploration of a pivotal moment in the history of science. The staged reading intends to engage Lafayette student audiences in the ethics of harnessing emerging science and technologies. The play highlights the role of scientists engaging in weapons development and the role of quantum physicists in developing the atomic bomb in WWII. This event is part of the Quantum Unlocked - IBM Qiskit Fall Fest 2024 at Lafayette College.
