Delta Kappa Epsilon Winter Leadership Training and Strategic Planning Retreat

The Rho Chapter of Delta Kappa Epsilon is hosting our Winter Leadership Training and Strategic Planning Retreat on January 26th, 2013. Student leaders will present an update on our chapter's execution of the Strategic Plan written during a prior Leadership Conference in August 2012. All students in DKE will have an opportunity to make minor revisions as well as create new action plans and goals for the spring semester. Dean of the College Dr. Hannah Stewart-Gambino will participate and share best practices for implementing strategic plans with the DKE students. The afternoon sessions will include workshops for a dynamic recruitment initiative, engagement of the campus community, and officer transitions including the templates, tools, and techniques learned by the outgoing student leaders. During the workshops students will create a map of DKE's current campus network, discuss what they want that map to look like in January 2014, and create actions plans on how to achieve that result. The DKE faculty adviser, Professor Richard Shupp '67, will participate throughout the day. Alumni leading the conference include Peter Carlson '02, Mark Fedorov '91, Jared Piette '12, John Sheehy '05, and John Terembula '94.
