McKelvy Discussion

Our discussion centers on the conceptualization of offensiveness, including what we find offensive, why we find it offensive, and the moral or social norms behind these perceptions.  We will explore definitions of offensiveness and examine their limitations, to ultimately develop our own understanding of offense and to navigate the delicate balance between personal expression, social norms, and respect for others.
