Bread for the World, through its “Nourish Our Future” campaign, is hosting listening sessions to brainstorm ways to tackle hunger among children and college students in the U.S. With one in four higher education students facing food insecurity, it's vital to bring this issue to the forefront of public and legislative attention.
Bread for the World, a non-partisan Christian advocacy group with over 300,000 members, works with lawmakers to address food insecurity and related issues. They are seeking firsthand accounts to shape their upcoming legislation.
Landis and Religious & Spiritual Life are hosting a Zoom session on Tuesday, September 24, from 12:00 to 1:30 PM to gather insights from experts like you. Your input will help inform Bread for the World's legislative proposals. The session will be recorded for accuracy but responses will remain confidential. Further details and a Zoom link will follow.
Please complete the form below to let us know if you'd like to attend this Zoom meeting in order to participate in this important discussion. You are welcome to share this invitation with other higher ed professionals in the Lehigh Valley. Thank you!
