The untimely but not unexpected death of Aleksei Navalny in a Siberian penal colony saddened much of the world last week. This brown bag will feature a brief discussion of Navalny and his role in organizing political opposition to Vladimir Putin's regime before turning to what his punishment - and death - may mean for the future of political opposition in contemporary Russia. There will be pizza as long as it lasts, or you may bring your own lunch.
