Engineering Studies Capstone Presentations

We would like to invite you to our Engineering Studies Capstone Presentations on Mon, Dec 11 at 6pm in AEC 511. Part formal presentation, part end-of-year celebration, this event will feature our Engineering Studies seniors and their capstone design projects. They have truly poured their blood, sweat, and tears into these capstone projects this past semester and we are proud to present the fruits of that labor. We will order catering from Forks Mediterranean Deli.

We offered three capstone projects this year:

• Functional Art at LaFarm: This project explores the feasibility and preliminary design ideas for a new functional art installation in the LaFarm Greenhouse.
• Metzgar Fields LCAT Shuttle Improvement: This project investigates the underuse of the LCAT shuttle to Metzgar Fields and suggests sustainable, financially-feasible improvements.
• LaFarm Alternative Efficiency Study: While many of LaFarm's efficiency metrics are production-oriented, this study investigates how to maximize alternative, non-productive elements of LaFarm, such as community-building and educational outreach.

We are very proud of our seniors' hard work this semester and we look forward to seeing you on Monday evening!
