On Tuesday, October 24, 2023, at 7PM, in Kirby Hall of Civil Rights, room 104, the Village on College Hill will be screening the film “Till.” All students, faculty, and friends are invited. “’Till’ is a profoundly emotional and cinematic film about the true story of Mamie Till Mobley's relentless pursuit of justice for her 14 year old son, Emmett Till, who, in 1955, was brutally lynched while visiting his cousins in Mississippi. In Mamie's poignant journey of grief turned to action, we see the universal power of a mother's ability to change the world.” A discussion will follow the film. Running time: 2 hours and 10 minutes. Free admission. The Village on College Hill is an Easton, PA, community organization.
