 Festival at Merkin Hall. \nErnesto Lecuona y Casado (1896 – 1963) was a Cu
 ban composer and pianist\, \nmany of whose works have become standards of 
 the Latin\, jazz and classical \nrepertoires. His over 600 compositions in
 clude songs and zarzuelas as well as \npieces for piano and symphonic orch
