International and Off-Campus Education is hosting a community talk to provide targeted support for our LGBTQIA+ students who are preparing to go abroad. Queer and trans students often face a unique set of challenges when entering a totally new culture and country. IOCE seeks to assist our LGBTQIA+ students in fostering community with their peers, talk them through any concerns or worries they may have about going abroad, connect them with resources, and help them feel more prepared for their abroad journey.
All students are welcome to attend, whether you've already been abroad, are planning to go abroad, or are interested and want to learn more.
