 cent\, Miryam Charles is a director\, producer and \ncinematographer livin
 g in Montreal. Her films have been presented in various \nfestivals intern
 ationally. Cette maison\, her debut feature film\, had its \nworld premier
 e at Berlinale Forum 2022 and has been screened at festivals \nworldwide\,
  winning awards at Indie Lisboa\, Trinidad and Tobago Film Festival\, \nMo
 ntréal Festival du Nouveau Cinéma\, and Indie Memphis. Her ongoing work \n
 explores themes related to exile and the legacies of colonization. Her sec
 ond \nfeature-length fiction film La marabout is currently in production.
