Recognition of the following:
CHAPTER AWARDS
Excellence in Event Programming Award
The Excellence in Event Programming Award is an opportunity to earn recognition for a single chapter event of the award year. To be eligible, the event should have showcased the values of the fraternity and sorority system and worked to unify the campus community. These events could be solely sponsored by an individual group or co-sponsored with another FS or other LAF student organization. They can be philanthropic, educational, or social in nature, or a combination of all three.
Excellence in Community Service Award
The Excellence in Community Service Award recognizes the involvement of the chapter and its members in community service activities.
INDIVIDUAL AWARDS
Adviser of the Year Award
The recognition of one of our FS advisers who has helped develop leaders within the chapter, promoted the chapter’s values, supported chapter goal-setting and achievement, and models ethical leadership and healthy chapter membership.
Founder’s Award
The Founder’s Award is given to the individual who most exemplifies and embodies their founding father/mother’s values and ideals as well as the values of the entire Lafayette fraternity and sorority community. They should work to spread these ideals among members of their chapter as well as to other organizations across campus. This person displays these values and ideals and shares them with others. Students should strive for excellence in areas such as scholarship, service, personal development, community involvement, and leadership. The individual FS member advocates fraternity and sorority life on campus as well as in the surrounding community.
