DESCRIPTION:How can we create inclusive classrooms to support the success o
 f all of our \nlearners? Last Spring CITLS collaborated with the Internati
 onal Students \nAssociation\, the English for Academic Purposes Center\, a
 nd the Intercultural \nDevelopment and International Student Advising Offi
 ce to host a \nstudent-driven forum focused on international students’ exp
 eriences at \nLafayette. \n\n \n\nOne of the major themes that emerged fro
 m the discussions between \ninternational students\, faculty\, and staff m
 embers was a need to create \nacademic experiences that are inclusive to t
 he truly unique experiences of \ninternational students. \n\n \n\nAs a fol
 low-up to the forum\, this session (the second of two) will study case \na
 pplications as well as brainstorm ways we can support international studen
 ts \nin their unique journeys at Lafayette. Because any faculty member mig
 ht \nteach\, mentor\, or advise international students\, this session will
  be \nrelevant for all. These sessions will be facilitated by Dr. Tracie A
 ddy \n(CITLS)\, Dr. Tingting Kang\, Director of the English for Academic P
 urposes \nCenter (EAP)\, and Janine Block\, Assistant Director of Intercul
 tural \nDevelopment and International Student Advising. Lunch will be prov
 ided.
